Currently based in Canada, Isabella Di Liello is a dance artist & choreographer. She began her dance education at an early age, training extensively in contemporary, modern, ballet, composition and improvisation.
She completed her formal training at Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company Pre-Professional MASA program where she performed her own work as well as Rami Be’er & Mats Ek repertoire. Most recently, Isabella was selected as a finalist to perform her solo work, Validation is for Parking, for the Solo Tanz Theatre Festival in Stuttgart, Germany and Linkage International Choreography Competition in Sofia, Bulgaria. She had the distinction of being the only finalist representing Canada in both festivals. She was also selected to perform at the Associazione Danza e Balletto, WHAT WE ARE Choreographic Platform, in Udine, Italy. Her most recent work includes performing at the Festival Quartiers Danses in Montreal Canada in Jessica Muszynski’s “Fam Ly” and the development of a new solo, funded in part by the London Arts Council, Community Investment Program and the Ontario Arts Council. In recent years, Isabella has received additional training through Springboard Danse Montreal, Gaga Intensives, Modus Operandi, Ate9, MIP2 and more.
Other credits include performing in a new creation by the 7 Fingers in the UAE, Choreographing/Performaning in music videos & concerts for artists RALPH & W. Darling and a number of choreographic residencies as an alumni of the HB Beal Performing Arts Program where she graduated with a concentration in Dance, finished with Highest Standing & Excellence in Technique & Choreography & received the Kay Harries Memorial Award.
